Request guidelines
Photo & video shoots
All professional photography and video must be approved in advance. Prohibited: drones, tripods, monopods, lights, reflector screens, natural flowers, animals, food and drink, glass; balloons aren’t allowed in the aviaries. Don’t block walkways, stand on railings, leave the path, touch butterflies or birds, or pick flowers. Family-friendly attire (no bathing suits) and no amplified music. Hand-held items are inspected at the end of the aviaries.

Butterfly World donates admission tickets to be auctioned at fundraisers (by default two tickets, mailed to you) — no monetary or plant donations. Allow up to two weeks or more, depending on your event date.

Looking for a plant you couldn’t find in stock? Send the common and scientific name, quantity (1–10 of one species) and size. Plants are for pickup only — not shipped. The Garden Center is open Mon–Sat 9–4 and Sun 11–4, weather permitting.

Butterfly World has many aviaries with free-flying birds. Birds that are very friendly and land on people aren’t a good fit (lorikeets are an exception). Tell us the species, number, sex, health, age and city.
